Weekly Menu For The Week Of Nov 21st

weekly-menu-nov-21Happy week of Thanksgiving and Black Friday! Let the turkey eating and Christmas shopping commence!

How many of you are going out of town or have family coming into town? This year, we’re spending Thanksgiving with Josh’s family. We switch off every other year and last year we hosted Thanksgiving at our house and seated a ton of people around that beautiful farmhouse dining room table that Josh built. Since we’re noshing on pumpkin pie with Josh’s family this year, his sister and her family are coming down from Washington to spend the week with the whole family.

I’m especially thrilled because I get to snuggle my little niece Ellie. I haven’t seen her since July…she’s going to be so big now!!! Why do babies have to grow?

We should protest that! “Stop babies from getting bigger!”

Moving on now. We’ve got plans for Christmas for you. I’m dreaming of delicious, festive treats and lot’s of bright twinkle lights. By the way, we bought more garland for our house AND I found the cutest whale Christmas ornament at Target over the weekend! So darn cute!

Since we’ve got company coming to town, our menu is looking a little light and easy. We’re having at least three meals over at my in-love’s house. Mmm! My mother-in-love is an excellent cook, so I’m looking forward to that!

Okay guys, here’s the menu and make sure to check out our weekly menu board or the Thanksgiving recipe archives  from our blog for some holiday-eriffic ideas (is that a thing?)!

Have a wonderful holiday week everyone. Laugh a lot, eat well, and be thankful!
