Weekly Menu for the Week of April 18th

Weekly Menu | Catz in the Kitchen | catzinthekitchen.com | #menu #mealplanWe had one gorgeous, completely beautiful, warm weekend here in the PNW and unlike last week, the sun and warm temps aren’t fading right away! We’re pretty much predicted to have nice weather until about Friday. I’m not going to complain! Sun and 70 + degrees is just what the doctor ordered.

We spent the whole weekend doing some fun out of the things with the kids. We took the kids to the movies on Friday, the Farmer’s Market on Saturday, and then we spontaneously decided that instead of going to church on Sunday, we would take the kids to the Oregon Zoo…which was such a beautiful, perfect way to see some of God’s creation up close and personal! We packed a lunch and got to the zoo early enough in the day that all of the animals were out and being active – which was rare for us because we usually go in the middle of the day. I think my favorite part was seeing the lions get so close to us and play with each other. It was such a neat opportunity! Our zoo is doing such a great job of making plans to update all the areas, most recently being Elephant Lands, which was quite amazing!

But onto the menu…unfortunately, when I made my menu last week, rain was predicted off an on through the week and now it’s supposed to be sunny! Which means, we won’t be doing any grilling…unless Josh rebels mid-week, which is certainly possible! But there is plenty of time for that over the coming weeks, I’m sure (I hope?).

I hope some of these dinner ideas help out with your own meal planning! Feel free to check out past menu menus for other great ideas.

Have a great week everyone! Here are this week’s recipes:
